Crownstar International College operates under several distinct forms of institutional and programme-level recognition. This page explains, precisely, what each one means — and what it does not.
Why this page matters: Institutional accreditation, programme approval, qualification awarding, and professional or short-course certification are five different things. CIC states clearly, on every programme page, which of these applies — and never implies that one covers all of CIC's offerings. Anything not yet confirmed by CIC's leadership is marked accordingly rather than assumed.
These terms are often used loosely. At CIC, they are not interchangeable.

| Programme Approval | A specific programme has been reviewed and approved by the relevant regulatory body to be delivered by CIC. | It does not mean the programme confers a qualification equivalent to a full university degree unless explicitly stated. |
| Qualification Awarding Body | The organisation that formally issues the qualification/certificate a learner receives — e.g. OTHM (UK) for OTHM diplomas. | CIC delivers the programme; CIC is not the awarding body for externally-awarded qualifications such as OTHM diplomas. |
| Professional Certification | A certificate confirming completion of a professional-development programme, issued according to that programme's own framework. | It is not automatically equivalent to a nationally accredited academic qualification. |
| Short-Course Certificate | A CIC-issued certificate of attendance/completion for a short course or workshop. | It does not constitute a formal academic qualification or professional licence. |
Official logos are displayed only where CIC holds documented permission to use them.
GTEC is Ghana's regulator for tertiary education institutions. GTEC accreditation relates to CIC's institutional standing as a tertiary provider.
OTHM is the UK-based awarding body for the international diploma pathways CIC delivers as an approved study centre.
Every programme carries one of these statuses, so accreditation and availability are never assumed.
